Now that you are an sponsor we encourage you to develop an active  friendship with your sponsored child. We have processes in place to make it easy for you to do so. Letter writing  through our message center is one option. Even better -- a personal visits is a terrific option if you are in Nepal.    

We hope that you will find your friendship to be rewarding and we are available to support you in making this possible. 

Probably the easiest way to develop a friendship with your sponsored child is through the exchange of letters. 

As you begin your relationship, we ask that you email your letters and photos to penpalhopefulhome@gmail.com   In the heading/subject line of your email please indicate the name of your sponsored child. You may:

• Type correspondence directly into the email 
• Attach a PDF file of your letter
• Send an image of a handwritten letter
• Attach photo images or videos

As a second option you can write and send letters by using  the online form appearing below on this page.  The form is easy to use.  Please provide your name and email address and the name of your sponsored child.  Then simply type in (or paste text)  in the message part of the form.  You may also attach files such as a picture of yourself.  It's that easy!

Once we receive your letter it will be provided to your sponsored child. We will then work with the child to have them respond back to you.  Please be aware that it may be some time until you hear back from the child.  Their days are busy and homework always comes first. Letter writing can also be a challenge for some of the children and we want to make sure that it is a fun process and one that they can learn from.   

What better way to develop a friendship with your sponsored child than through an in person visit.  We offer this as an option to you should you have travel plans to Nepal and want to visit Hopeful Home. We guarantee you that it will be a very rewarding and perhaps as others have found -- a life changing experience.
