Our mission at Hopeful Home is to provide safe and secure shelter and support to homeless individuals in our community. We provide Healthcare and Food for Helpless Children. We also provide children with the opportunities to participate in a wide-range of activities.
The story of The Hopeful Home for Orphans and Helpless Children is a testament to the dedication and compassion of its Nepali founders, Mrs. Bhuwaneswori Pandey and Mrs. Gopini Wosti, Mr.Dinesh Prasad Khakureland and four members as well as the unwavering support of Dr. Dennis Hess and his wife Noreen.
Founded in March 2002 under the Social Welfare Act with registration number 680-058/059, the orphanage began with a small group of 12 children.
The key to the success of Hopeful Home are the dedication of individuals to the orphanage. The dedication extends from our Managing Directors, our Staff, our Board of Directors, our Volunteers and to other Organizations who have partnered with us.
Serving 73 Children: Over the course of the orphanage's existence, it has provided support and care to a total of 73 children, offering them a safe and nurturing environment.
20 Children Currently Residing: Currently, 20 children are living in the orphanage, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to providing a home for those in need.
An impressive 36 children, including 20 boys and 16 girls, have successfully completed their higher school education. This is a significant achievement as education is a key factor in helping them build better futures.
